Welcome to the exiting trip to Manas National Park, Assam.
Manas National Park – “Manas National Park” is UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Project Tiger with Elephant
Reserve and Biosphere in Assam State of India - situated in 950 Sq Kms at the base of foot
hills of the Bhutan-Himalayas with unique biodiversity and landscape. Manas is a
contiguous with the Royal Manas National Park of Bhutan. The park is known for its rare
and endangered endemic wildlife such as the One Horned Rhino, Elephants, Water Buffalo,
Indian Gaur, Hog Deer, Sambar & Spotted Deer, Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare,
Golden Langur, Pygmy Hog, Hoollock Gibbon with a chances of leopard & Tiger and many
more. The name of the park is originated from the Manas River which is named after the
serpent goddess Manasa. The Manas river is a major tributary of Bramhaputra River which
passes through the heart of the national park. The park is also well known for its variety of
more than 650 birds like Bengal Florican, Great, Rufous Necked & Wreathed Hornbill,
Greater Adjutant Stork, Black & Jerdon’s Baza, Sparrowhawks, Swamp Francolins, Spot
Bellied Eagle Owl, Long & Silver Breasted Boradbill, Red Necked Trogon with many types
of Pigeon, Ducks & Gooses, Pitta, Pelican and many more. Manas is the only landscape
in the world where pristine Terai Grasslands are seen merging with the Bhabar Grasslands
interspersed with diverse habitats ascending to Semi-Evergreen forests and then to Bhutan
Himalayas.
Special Note –
1. Only 4 persons will be there in a Gypsy.
2. This trip is specially designed for wildlife viewing. We will try to
cover maximum area of jungle as we can observe plenty of birds and
good number of mammals with avifauna and nice landscapes.
3. Our stay will be at a nice and beautiful place at Manas which is very
adjacent to main entrance gate.
All are requested to reach Guwahati till 9.00 am. on Thursday – 22.02.2018.
We will assist you for Flight / Train Booking – if required
Itinerary
Day 1
Thursday, 22-Feb-2018
Hotel/Resort - Manas
Location - Manas
9.00 am - Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Station & proceed to Manas.
On the way we will have our Breakfast & Tea.
1.00 pm – Arrival at Resort and will have Lunch.
2.15 pm to 5.30 pm – Open gypsy safari.
6.00 pm to 6.45 pm - High Tea and Light snacks.
7.30 pm to 8.30 pm – Small presentation on wild life (photos / films )
Questions & answers, discussion, sharing experience.
9.00 pm to 9.30 pm – Dinner.
10.00 pm onwards – Rest time.
Day 2
Friday, 23-Feb-2018
Hotel/Resort - Manas
Location - Manas
6.15 am - Tea with some Biscuits.
6.45 am to 5.30 pm
- Full day jungle excursion inside the core area.
We will carry our packed breakfast & lunch and will return in the evening.
6.00 pm to 6.30 pm - High Tea and Light snacks.
8.00 pm to 9.00 pm – Camp Fire.
9.00 pm to 9.30 pm – Dinner.
10.00 pm onwards – Rest time.
Day 3
Saturday, 24-Feb-2018
Hotel/Resort - Manas
Location - Manas
6.15 am - Tea with some Biscuits.
6.45 am to 5.30 pm - Full day jungle excursion inside the core area.
We will carry our packed breakfast & lunch and will return in the evening.
6.00 pm to 6.30 pm - High Tea and Light snacks.
8.00 pm to 9.00 pm – Leisure time and some cultural program.
9.00 pm to 9.30 pm – Dinner.
10.00 pm onwards – Rest time.
Day 4
Sunday, 25-Feb-2018
Hotel/Resort - Manas
Location - Manas
6.15 am - Tea with some Biscuits
6.15 am to 9.30 am - Morning gypsy safari.
10.00 am to 10.15 am – Breakfast & Tea.
11.00 am – Leave for Guwahati Airport / Station. Lunch will on the way.
2.00 pm – Reach Guwahati.
Tour Ends.

2 Half Day - Open Gypsy safaris in different areas (4 persons in a vehicle) &
2 Full Day excursion inside the jungle. Will drive far away.
Pick & drop from Guwahati by AC vehicle – Innova or Deluxe Tempo Traveller.
