Jordan..... is in Asian Continent and an Arab Nation on the east bank of Jorden River. Its
defined by ancient monuments, nature reserves and sea side resorts. It’s a home to famed
archaeological site of Petra, the Nabatean Capital during dating to around 300 B.C. Set in narrow
valley with tombs, temples and monuments carved into the surroundings pink sandstone cliff,
Petra earns its nickname, the Rose City. Jordan takes its name from the Jordan River which
forms much of the country’s north – western border. Jordan has 3 major physiographic regions
from east to west i.e. the Deserts, the upland east of Jordan River and the Jordan River. In short

Day 2 - City Tour of Amman & Jerash
Sunday - 28th April 2019

In the morning visit of Amman, the capitol of Jordan. You will see the Citadel, the archaeological
museum, the Roman Theater and walk in the old city and a tour of the modern West Amman.
Then visit Jerash which is one of the best preserved Greco-Roman Cities in the Middle East. The
street of columns, the Hadrian gate and the 2 Roman Theatres are the major sites you will
discover there

Day 3 - Amman to Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea

Day 4 - Mount Nebo, Madaba and Kerak Crusader Castle on the way to Petra

After Breakfast proceed to the Dead Sea and along the Kingsway, is the mosaic-filled city of
Madaba. Crowned by a small church, this historic town lies in the middle of Jordan’s most fertile
land. The finest mosaic found to date is still in its original place on the floor of the Greek
Orthodox Church of St. George. Situated 10 kilometers west of Madaba, overlooking the Jordan
Valley is Mount Nebo, one of the alleged sites of the tomb of Moses. Kerak lies about 150 Km
south of Amman and is famous of its crusader fortress in the centre of underground galleries,
rooms and secret passageways and its thick defensive walls pierced by narrow arrow slits where
crusader archers held out bravely but in vain for over 100 years.

Petra – one of the most fascinating sights in Jordan. Petra is one of the seven new world wonders
and impresses with its wonderful architecture. The city was carved in the mountains by the
Nabatean people more than 2000 years ago. After that we will visit one more spectacular place
and that is ‘Little Petra’ which is also known as Wadi Musa. Here also like Petra, it is a
Nabataean site, with buildings carved into the walls of the sandstone canyons which are great in
its carving art.

Day 6 - Wadi Rum to Red Sea – Aqaba to Amman
Thursday - 2nd May 2019

Morning visit of Wadi Rum, the desert valley of the Bedouins, framed by brown and red jagged
mountain ranges, will impress you today. During a 2 hours Jeep Tour with a beguine driver you
will discover the unique desert and sand stone mountains. Then we will move to back to way to
Amman City. On the way we will visit Aqaba – Red Sea. Here we will spend few hours and then
proceed to Amman. Return to Airport Amman for departure.
